Accessibility Statement – RRI stičišče (RDI Hub)

1. Accessibility Statement

The Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency (hereinafter: ARIS) undertakes to ensure the accessibility of its websites in accordance with the Act on the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No. 30/18, as amended; hereinafter: ZDSMA).

This accessibility statement applies to the RDI Hub website, available at https://www.rri.si.

2. Level of compliance

The website is partially compliant with the requirements of the ZDSMA. The RDI Hub portal has been developed in accordance with the WCAG 2.1 accessibility requirements at Level AA. Individual items of content uploaded to the portal by registered users, or taken from stakeholders’ portals, may not meet all accessibility requirements, as explained in point 3 of this statement.

3. Content not available

The following content does not meet all accessibility requirements:

Photos and materials uploaded by users

Photographs and other materials uploaded to the portal by registered users may not have appropriate alternative text descriptions. Affected WCAG 2.1 criterion:

  • 1.1 Non-text content – photographs and images without alternative text (the ‘alt’ attribute)

Reason: whilst the portal technically allows an alternative description to be entered for each photograph, it cannot guarantee that every individual user will actually enter one. We can help you obtain an accessible version of the content on request.

Content taken from stakeholder portals

Content that has been reproduced or published in collaboration with partner organisations and portals may not meet all accessibility requirements. The most commonly affected WCAG 2.1 guidelines:

  • 1.1 Non-text content – images without alternative text
  • 3.1 Information and relationships – possible structural errors in the imported content

Reason: the content is produced by external partners and is not directly under the editorial control of ARIS. We can provide an accessible version of the content on request.

4. Accessibility features

The website is designed to enable:

  • use via the keyboard,
  • use with screen readers,
  • adapting the display to different devices (responsive design),
  • sufficient contrast between the text and the background,
  • a clear and logical structure of the content, and
  • enlarging the content without any loss of information or functionality.

The development and maintenance of the website takes into account the guidelines of standard EN 301 549 and the WCAG 2.1 recommendations at Level AA.

5. Drawing up an accessibility statement

This statement was drawn up on 30 6. 2026, based on a self-assessment that included functional testing of the website using screen readers, checks on contrast and content structure, and a review of compliance with the WCAG 2.1 AA criteria.
